Wealth Associate:  

Basic Functions

  • The Wealth Associate position provides technical support to the lead advisor with regard to client service and delivery on designated clients.
  • Data gathering, modeling and case design that includes creating financial plans, reviewing investment portfolios, and preparing income tax returns.
  • The Wealth Associate will work with the lead advisor as part of a two person team serving each high net worth client relationship.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare net worth statements, wealth vision plan/cash flow analysis, income tax projections, retirement planning, investment portfolio review and other financial planning analyses.
  • Participate in planning meetings with clients throughout the year.
  • Take meeting notes and prepare follow up summaries.
  • Address client’s financial planning needs and prepare appropriate work product.
  • Delegate and review work of administrative support as appropriate.
  • Assist with billing process regarding designated client accounts.
  • Ensure that follow up items are completed timely for designated clients.
  • Prepare correspondence and paperwork for review and mailing.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and related supporting schedules to ensure filing deadlines are met.
  • Complete other firm projects and initiatives as requested.

Skills

  • Organizational skills- prepare and organize spreadsheets and other information for director review and interpretation.
  • Strong Analytical skills- ability to review and interpret complex financial data.
  • Technical competence- comprehensive and technical knowledge of financial planning, investments and income taxes.
  • Time management- able to manage time well and handle multiple tasks.
  • Computer skills- knowledge and proficiency with computer applications (excel, word, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Punctuality- ready to work on time and efficiently throughout the day.
  • Teamwork- ability to work on teams and in collaboration with others.
  • Communication Skills- strong interpersonal skills; effective oral and written communication; ability to communicate professionally and confidentially with personnel, clients.

  • Business Knowledge - Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Strategy, Forecasting, Accounting, Developing Budgets, Analyzing Information , General Math Skills, Reporting Research Results, Managing Profitability

Education / Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Preferred
  • CFP/CPA or candidate preferred
  • Series 65 or similar – required within nine months of employment start date      

Experience

Work experience in wealth management or related field preferred (i.e. accounting, finance, investments, etc) is preferred.


Client Service Administrator:  

Basic Functions

  • The Client Service Administrator (CSA) position provides clerical and administrative support to the advisory staff with regard to supporting our client's needs.
  • Client account paperwork, scheduling, correspondence, back office support and general administrative support.
  • The CSA will work closely with the advisory staff as part of a team serving our high net worth client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare new account opening paperwork for client relationships and other related forms.
  • Interact with custodian and resolve any client account issues
  • Complete client wires, account transfer and journals as instructed
  • Confirm and verify trades
  • Set up client portfolios and assign accounts in our client performance reporting system.
  • Print reports and meeting materials as needed.
  • Assist in client meeting scheduling 
  • Scan and file properly documents in document management system.
  • General back office and phone support.
  • Represent the firm in a professional manner in person, over the phone and in all forms of written communication
  • Other such duties as may be assigned.  

Skills

  • Organizational skills- ability to be highly organized to perform duties assigned on time.
  • Accuracy - able to accurately perform assigned tasks in an efficient manner
  • Time management- able to manage time well and handle multiple tasks.
  • Computer skills- knowledge and proficiency with computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook and others.  Prior experience with Worldox, Juxure, Black Diamond is a plus.

Education / Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • College degree or education preferred

Experience

Minimum of 5-years relevant work experience in wealth management or related field preferred (i.e. accounting, finance, investments, etc) is preferred.


Seasonal Tax Preparer:  We are looking to hire an experienced tax professional to assist in the preparation of tax returns from Mid-February through Mid-April. 

Preferred Qualtications:

  • At least 2-years of prior tax preparation experience preparing individual,and/or gift tax returns.
  • Willing to work in a fast paced and friendly environment.
  • CPA is preferred.
  • Is a self starter with the ability to handle and manage multiple priorities
  • Prior experience with ProSystems fx or CCH Axcess tax software is a plus.
